We are looking for a highly motivated Sourcing Manager to assist the company in creating strong relationships with suppliers and maintaining the existing ones. The Sourcing Manager responsibilities include sourcing goods, materials, and services at competitive prices and advising on which suppliers to contract with. You should be able to maintain and update the supplier database and find alternative suppliers if the existing ones are unable to meet their obligations.
To be a successful Sourcing Manager, you should be able to work with the relevant departments to ensure that costs remain within budget. A high-performing sourcing specialist should be able to develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance sourcing strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
- Evaluating and monitor performance of existing and potential suppliers.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers, including costs, quantity, delivery schedules, terms of supply, service, and quality.
- Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
- Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
- Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation.
- Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company.
- Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies.
- Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.
- Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts.
- Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations.
- Take full ownership and drive the sourcing, resourcing, cost reduction, localization & local development projects as identified time to time.
- Ensure that the suppliers adhere to Atlas Copco Business Code of Practice without any exception.
- Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
- Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

What we expect from you?Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Sourcing or Purchasing.
- Proven experience in sourcing processes
Education
- Bachelor's degree in in administration, logistics, supply chain or related field or equivalent work experience.
Skills
- Thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft suite. SAP ERP experience is a plus.
- Strong influencing, negotiating, presenting, communicating and vendor management skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance within the supply chain processes.
- Sound time-management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Strong team player
- Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships.
